We can and have supported all kinds of sectors and applications through grid delays – including fast-food, retail, housing developments, schools, commercial offices, gyms, servos and medical centres. More broadly, our BESS are used across construction, civil, manufacturing, grid support, tourism applications. If your project or application isn’t in this list, get in touch anyway as we’re always discovering new ways that BESS can be used and have the in-house capability to work through any setup.

We work with both models. We can supply a full turnkey solution – generator and BESS together; or we can integrate our battery systems with a generator you already have on site. If we’re working in with your generator or your preferred supplier, we will have a minimum set of requirements the generator needs to come with, which we can discuss with you in advance.

Our BESS are built to run full site loads, not just cover an outage. On the fast food case we mention above, that meant air conditioning, deep fryers and cooking equipment, refrigeration, lighting, POS and general amenities – the entire kitchen – for as long as the connection was delayed. It’s the same in all of our applications. At times, we will only support commissioning instead of full-scale operations – we can do both.

For as long as you need it. Generally we have a three month minimum hire term on our larger BESS systems as they are in high demand – this is typically how long the grid delay is for. If your requirement is shorter, we will absolutely still look at it and will always endeavour to be flexible. In general, we can scale to suit projects of different sizes – from bridging a delayed connection for a few months to supporting a build for its full duration.

Cost depends on the size of unit, which will depend on the loads we need to power. Lead time will depend on equipment availability, along with site readiness – when this lines up, we can mobilise very quickly. Yes – when paired with a generator in a hybrid setup like the one described above, our systems can cut genset run-time and fuel costs by up to 75%, alongside a significant reduction in CO2 emissions and on-site noise. Often if you have a small 3-phase temporary grid feed, we can charge from that and eliminate the need for a diesel generator altogether. Get in touch with us to discuss your options.
