Power. Backed by service.
STEP ONE
Solution Design
Our expertise is in sizing the right solution for your needs. To do this, we ask you some basic questions including what equipment you need powered, any information you have on the loads and staging, and whether you have access to any mains power at all or need an off-grid solution.
With this information, we then draw on data from the hundreds of other sites we’ve already powered and use this to build up load profiles for your project. Our in-house model has over 10 million data points in it and is constantly evolving as we add more real-world data to it.
We then select BESS products from our range to suit your requirements, we price the solution and compare it to your alternatives, and we present the solution, our assumptions and our cost calculations back to you in a custom proposal for your feedback.

Step two
Set-up & Pre-deployment Planning
Once we’ve agreed on the solution design, our technical team works with you and your electrical contractor to provide critical information on set-up before we get to site, to make sure everything has been considered and planned in advance – no surprises.
This includes briefing the electrical contractor on exactly how the set-up will work, providing any wiring diagrams, supporting cable selection and sizing, looking at placement of unit/s and working through timing of delivery and commissioning to suit other electrical and site activities.
We also work in with your site team on all logistics and delivery details to make sure that getting the equipment to site is smooth, safe and on-time.

Step three
Commissioning
At commissioning, we’ll send a trained technician out to site to work alongside your electrical contractor to connect and test all of the equipment before going live. Your electrical contractor will complete all of the physical connections and together we’ll make sure that everything performs as expected.
We’ll get you up and running with your temp power set-up and also provide a safety and operational briefing to key personnel on site to make sure they understand how the unit works, do’s and don’ts and any key safety protocols. Key documentation will also be provided at commissioning.

Step four
Remote Monitoring & Support
The beauty of our BESS systems is that they all come with remote monitoring and control capabilities. This means we can see and act on a wide range of key information from anywhere.
We monitor the units 24/7 and have alerts programmed for key parameters – things like state of charge, voltages, temperature, whether the unit is charging or not when it’s meant to be, and more. This allows us to be proactive and catch issues as quickly as possible. Remote control also enables us to manage the assets remotely, reducing downtime and the need for physical call-outs. Our team are also always on-call.
We know the criticality of maintaining power to site and we will often go to great lengths to support our customers – even if it means having to help sort issues that are not directly related to our BESS. We are passionate about bringing the best service we can to our customers.

Step five
Boots-on-ground Support
We know not everything can be solved remotely. When it can’t be and we need boots on the ground, we have a team of Powershift staff and trained contractors all across AU and NZ who can be dispatched to site. We also carry a large stock of spares in multiple locations to ensure we are prepared to respond to whatever the issue is as quickly as possible.
We also look after all servicing and maintenance of our units, which is minimal and can generally be done without any downtime or disruption to site.

Reliable power for large loads, diesel savings and a compact, plug-and-play setup made the whole experience great. Smooth commissioning and excellent 24/7 monitoring and support gave us real peace of mind.
Professional, responsive and easy to work with, the team delivered excellent service from installation and commissioning through to ongoing monitoring and support. We’d gladly recommend them for temporary power.
The compact, plug-and-play units deliver reliable temporary power across our projects. Their sizing advice, 24/7 monitoring and responsive support take the pressure off us without adding to our workload.
