We spent a lot of time working through the setup, and the tech team were really good to deal with. The fact that the battery is running at less than 50% of its capacity gives us plenty of confidence that we can fully cycle the crane without worrying about running out of power. From a site perspective, we’re really happy knowing there won’t be any power issues.

Powershift have done a fantastic job delivering the CP300 battery. This is the first time we’ve used a battery solution in South Australia, and the size, low noise, and reduced emissions were key reasons for choosing it. The environmental benefits—particularly the savings on fuel and emissions—have been outstanding. As this is a Green Star project, it’s a great innovation to be able to use. Best of all, it’s been a true ‘set and forget’ solution.

The Powershift battery has met our site requirements perfectly, enabling us to run our site accommodation, temp site power, crane and hoist seamlessly prior to permanent power connection being available. Probably the best thing I can say about the Powershift battery we’ve got on site is that I regularly forget it’s there!

The unit itself has been fantastic—powerful enough, reliable, and extremely compact which has suited our tight building site perfectly. Powershift were excellent in helping us size exactly what we needed and worked closely with us and our electrical contractors throughout the entire process. The BESS from Powershift was reliable and it was able to handle large loads without any issues. Thanks to the Powershift Team, especially Carl, for the smooth commissioning of the BESS and 24/7 online monitoring and support. Any external issue affecting the BESS was notified to us immediately and was resolved within the hour. This gave us peace of mind during the commissioning stage of our project, especially over the Christmas holidays when the site was not manned.
