Buttons
Three buttons: Primary is orange solid, Secondary is the orange outline, Ghost is a grey outline for the quietest action. Green solid and green outline exist for a surface that is explicitly green, and the text-only pair is for a link that has to sit in a button row. Every one wears the chamfer; hover always deepens, never bounces.

Surfaces
Every card style
Cards are named styles on the Group block — Group, Row, Stack and Grid all accept them. A plain group stays a layout tool; the style is what makes it a card.
Card — is-style-pwr-card
Card
White surface, hairline border, small shadow, 32px padding baked in.
Outline card — is-style-pwr-card-muted
Outline card
A thin grey ring and nothing else — the surface shows through.
Stat card — is-style-pwr-stat
Stat card
White tile with the orange top bar. On a product series page the bar takes the series colour.
Behaviour
Cards in columns 25 / 50 / 75
The same Card at three column widths. Square corners, the same ring and the same 32px padding at every width — never a control; always proportionate.
Narrow
Small cut.
Wide
The corner cut grows with the column — same style, zero configuration.
Outline card at 50%
The quiet companion: a ring, no fill.
Card at 50%
Cards keep square corners — the chamfer belongs to images, buttons and the green callout.
Card at two-thirds
Room for a proper CTA.
Outline at one-third
Quiet companion content.
Cards in a grid
A Group with the Grid layout (three columns). Mixed card styles coexist on the same tracks.
Grid cell one
Equal-width tracks from the Grid layout; cards stretch to fill.
Grid cell two

Grid cell five
Equal-width tracks from the Grid layout; cards stretch to fill.
Grid cell six
Equal-width tracks from the Grid layout; cards stretch to fill.
Cards in a row
A Row (horizontal flex). Cards size to content; the row wraps on small screens.
Row card
Flexible width.
Row card
Sits beside its siblings.
Row card
Dark variant in the same row.
Photography
Cover styles
The three brand cover treatments from the Styles picker: Protection scrim (photo + style + overlay opacity 0 — the scrim re-aims with the content position), Hazard strip (chevrons along the base), Icon watermark (the mark bleeding off the corner).

Scrim aims at the content
Overlay opacity zero; the style supplies the gradient.

Hazard chevrons at the base
Orange by default; flips green on orange overlays.
Imagery
Image + cover chamfers
Images take BOTH corner cuts by default — top-left and bottom-right (15 Oct design review); the Styles picker offers Chamfer bottom-right only, Chamfer top-left only and No chamfer. SVGs (icons, arrows, logos) are never cut. Covers are full-bleed by default with Chamfer as the opt-in.

Common questions
What happens if my power demand spikes suddenly, can the battery keep up?
Yes. Our battery systems are built to handle sudden peak loads without dropping performance, so equipment like cranes and hoists can draw extra power exactly when needed with no delay. Our team will size a battery for your equipment and leverage data from hundreds of other sites that have similar equipment to make sure we don’t undersize for your peaks.
How much does a mobile battery reduce genset run-time and fuel use on a typical build?
If we’re able to charge the battery from a small mains supply, chances are you won’t need a generator at all – so the answer will be 100%! If we still need to use a generator, the savings in run-time and fuel depend on a lot of variables including how consistent or peaky your loads are, size of the battery, size of the generator, whether we need to account for generator lock-out periods due to noise, whether solar is part of the equation… the list goes on. We take all of these variables into account for each job and provide an upfront analysis and all associated assumptions for you before you sign on with us, so you can see this for yourself and decide if it stacks up. To find out exactly how much generator run time and fuel one of our BESS units can save your project, contact us here.
How much equipment can you power from one of your BESS units?
Our systems can be sized to power anything from a few site sheds through to large sites with multiple cranes, hoists, booms, dewatering systems and more. We have invested in a diverse fleet of BESS units to allow us to cater to different size sites and different stages of a build so that you’re not pigeon-holed into just one asset that’s not going to be the most efficient or cost-effective solution for you. Armed with some basic information of what we need to power and how we can keep our BESS charged on the job, we can size a solution that’s right for you.
What if I don’t have enough power at the end of my build?
This is one of our most common scenarios due to delays in permanent power being available for either commissioning stages or operations / occupancy. We can absolutely help you and have powered everything from new schools to gyms, medical centres, retail precincts, fast food chains and more. Learn more about how we can help you with a delayed grid connection here.

What size battery systems do you have?
We have a core range of mobile battery energy storage systems, ranging in size from 30kVA/75kWh to 300kW/600kWh, with some built more for peaks and others more for capacity. These are fully self-contained systems designed for commercial and industrial use (not residential) and can be moved between locations and projects. As a hire company, we often add new products to our fleet, so for the most up-to-date information on our range, please get in touch.
What kind of equipment can your battery systems power?
Our mobile battery energy storage systems can power a wide range and size of commercial and industrial electrical loads, including plant, equipment, and facility infrastructure. This includes large intermittent loads such as cranes, hoists, and presses, as well as more consistent loads such as site sheds and general site power. Our battery systems can also support highly reactive loads and provide clean, reliable power to sensitive electrical equipment.
Do you hire or sell your systems?
Our systems are available for hire, with full service and support offered through your hire term. For some unique cases, we are happy to explore alternative arrangements. Please get in touch for more information.

We recently used the Powershift power bank on site to run our crane and hoist, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish.
The setup was seamless, installation was quick, straightforward, and didn’t disrupt our workflow at all. Once it was in place, it honestly became something we didn’t have to think about. It just worked. On a busy construction site, that kind of reliability is invaluable.
What really stood out was the level of service. The team provided constant monitoring, helping us manage site loads efficiently and proactively. Knowing that someone was keeping an eye on performance in real time gave us confidence that everything would continue running smoothly without unexpected interruptions.
The system handled the crane and hoist demands effortlessly, with consistent power delivery throughout. There were no hiccups, no downtime, and no need for ongoing adjustments from our end. Overall, it was a clean, quiet, and highly effective solution. It integrated so well into our operations that it was easy to forget we were using it—which is exactly what you want on a construction site.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a dependable, low-maintenance power solution.

Case Study Challenge
Case study: high-rise dual battery — the prose beside the first gallery photo; bold = orange pill, italic = glow, a bold paragraph = pull-line
The challenge
Paynter Dixon required a temporary power solution for a 19-storey, 248-unit mixed-use development but wanted to avoid the cost, maintenance burden and operational challenges associated with running generators. The project required power across multiple locations on site, with varying load demands throughout construction.
What needed to be powered
- 2 × 220A Tower cranes
- 2 × 120A Hoists
- Jump form
- 100A Site amenities
- 2 × Satellites
- 3 × 63A Temp DBs
- Dewatering
The alternative
Without batteries, the site would have needed at least 2 × 350kVA generators alongside the 63A mains connection.
Case Study Solution
Case study: high-rise dual battery — the prose in green beside the units that did the job
The solution
- The Powershift team developed a tailored temporary power strategy that showcased the flexibility of integrating multiple battery sizes to meet changing site demands
- A Powershift Enertainer battery was deployed to support the site’s larger and more variable power loads. Its high-capacity energy storage enabled reliable operation while charging from a modest 63A mains grid connection.
- To support a second crane and small dewatering operations, a P300 battery was deployed and actually charged from the Powershift Enertainer battery.
- 24/7 monitoring and support by Powershift, provided real-time visibility of power usage and ensured peak demand was always met.

Case Study Highlights
Case study: high-rise dual battery — four across, centred
The highlights
- Cost SavingsReduced operating costs by $5K+ a month eliminating the need for continuous generator
operation, significantly lowering fuel, maintenance, and servicing expenses. - Improved EfficiencyWith no generator refuelling, servicing, or maintenance required, site teams could focus on project delivery rather than managing power infrastructure.
- Space EfficientThe compact footprint of the battery units enabled deployment in a constrained
construction environment without disrupting site operations. This was particularly valuable as power was required across two separate locations on site. - Scalable Power SolutionThe combination of battery systems provided the flexibility to adapt to changing site requirements, ensuring reliable power throughout the project's lifecycle.
- Reduced Noise ImpactOperating silently compared to traditional generators, the battery solution minimised noise impacts on neighbouring residents. This was a significant advantage given the project was being delivered within an established apartment community.
